Canada’s Latest Drone Regulations – Are You Ready to Fly?

The Field Law Emerging Technology Group invites you to take to the sky with your drone, but before you do, we encourage you to familiarize yourself with the regulation, risks and responsibilities that come with utilizing drones in your business. With the use of drones in commercial operations growing, we want to ensure you are prepared with how these new regulations will affect you.

This comprehensive half-day workshop will provide you with an understanding of :

• The latest regulations from Transport Canada coming into force June 1, 2019 for commercial and recreational pilots,
• How various federal, provincial and municipal laws can apply and interact with these new regulations, and
• Drone related risks and how to mitigate them under the new laws including privacy, contract, and insurance issues.
